We have a Golden Retriever and a Sheltie. This trimmer is very quiet. Both of my dogs tolerate this one better than our traditional trimmer. It has plenty of battery life left after being used on all 8 paws. It fits well in my hand. I waited until my dogs paws were completely grown out from their last groom and then used this trimmer. It worked quickly through the thick paw fur.

These are the best trimmers! I purchased 2 other styles before this one and did not use either. This one is quiet and will not cut my dog! He actually tolerated the trimming process. The trimmers are small to reach into the crevices, I use it with confidence knowing he will not have any abrasions or skin tears from these trimmers. I highly recommend these trimmers. I used it once so far and it made trimming standard poodle paw pads so much faster and easier than with regular clippers. I charged it as soon as it arrived and it charged quickly. The size of the cutting surface is small enough to fit in tight areas but large enough cut a decent amount at a time. It was sharp enough to cut an area the first pass. It is fairly quiet. This clipper reduced the time to probably one-fifth of the time it usually takes with a clipper. The smaller size, the cutting ability and the dog’s comfort made a huge difference. I highly recommend this item.
